A lot of people want to be on TV. It wasn't until I started getting contacted about making appearances on TV Shows with the scooters that I started documenting them. I would say "hey did you catch us on Speed Channel the other day?" and the answer was no. Then there was some interested in a scooter culture themed reality show that never went anywhere, but ever since then we've started saving the bits and as we visit clients making more shows for the web.
Over the years I've appeared on Speed Channel, CNN, and even Univision. When I built homes for the poor in Brazil back in 1995 I was interviewed on CNN en Espanol about how I felt on the US invasion of Haiti as a young student ambassador working in South America. I only wish I could find the VHS tape that's on because it would make a great clip. Before Youtube there was no way to keep track of all these things. There's probably a good dozen television appearances pre-2003 that I can't find when we were importing and selling Malaguti - SYM scooters in the United States, but all in all it lead to several reality tv conversations. I even had some guest appearances on 2Xtreme TV which were great as the Scooter export "The Scooter Maven"
Since the show went off the air I've continued to put up several adventures. We have an ever growing fan base which is great. I often hear from store owners asking when we are going to stop by to film. So below are some of the highlights from the Scooter Maven Web Show.

If you want to get around Hawaii there's no better way to do it than to get a scooter! The Big Island is also famous for having the most Honda Ruckus registrations and its one of the most popular units on the road. From Vespa to the Yamaha Vino we spotted them all.
